Users highly praise the service for being reliable, fast, and privacy-focused. Key highlights include fast disks, total anonymity, and affordable pricing with cryptocurrency payments support. Customers appreciate the fast support, the minimalistic panel, and the strict no-tracker policy. However, some users note the limited server locations and request Onion and i2p domains for better privacy. Additionally, the service strictly prohibits port scanning, which resulted in an account suspension for a violator. Overall, it is highly recommended as a solid and dependable hosting provider.

Ko-net works well for me. very solid and dependable host, down to earth, and they allow me to stay totally anonymous. the biggest thing that struck me was how shockingly fast the disk is, especially for a privacy host - they own their own hardware rather than reselling old junk like other hosts do, so they can offer better hardware for lower prices.

I don't know why this VPS provider has such a low rating, in my opinion, it should be much higher. I bought one month for the test, I recommend everyone to do this, if you like it, extend it again and again. I haven't scanned the ports, but there may be pentesters that need to be tested to work, usually they always ask the providers if they can do it or not. There is a VPS where it is allowed, there are where it is not.

👍Pros:

  1. You can pay with cryptocurrency. ✅
  2. Answer questions quickly. 3. There are ISO Debian,Ubuntu,Arch Linux Alpine Linux etc ✅
  3. No google claudflare trackers on the site itself. ✅
  4. Minimalistic control panel. ✅
  5. The cost of the month is adequate, taking into account all the advantages. ✅

✍️Recommendations:

  1. Not many locations of countries, but it is reported that it will be increased soon! 📍
  2. I agree that it would be good if there were onoin🧅 and i2p🧄 sites It is useful for payment 📍

Thank you for the review. Yes we don't permit any kind of large scale port scanning, for genuine research purposes we can consider it, but anyone that wishes to scan the entire internet should look elsewhere.

I appreciate the recommendations, these are all things we are intending to improve on in future, as we discussed before our public VPS offering is newer than our previous managed hosting operation and so it will take some time to bring these improvements, as well as all our other planned changes. I don't believe that people should buy on promises only but we are still working to improve.

Their basic plan costs $7 only and that plan is more than enough for a great number of users. It would be great if they had an Onion domain name.

Hi, Thank you for your review, this is something we will be adding in time, unfortunately the current panel is not built to support multiple domains so an onion domain wouldn't work properly. We would like to focus on improving the core service first before modifying the panel to support it. Thanks.

Onion domain name will be much helpful for the ones who prefer privacy. The ones who prefer high privacy love to visit Onion domain names, but for a good number of people even clear net version works pretty well.

I agree, and at the same time I'd like to add i2p. Right now with Javascript being required to do any actions in the panel it's a lower priority fix, and I'd like to focus on getting another server location up first. In future I'd like to have an optional very basic server panel that doesn't require Javascript to function, even if it will lack most features that the normal panel will have.

VPS Blocked, no good for port scanning!

We do not permit port scanning and we are very clear about this. We very clearly in our AUP: "If not illegal in the server location, we include the following malicious activities:" ... "Large scale port or vulnerability scanning." and in the TOS: "Use the services to harm other computer systems or individuals directly;"

In your specific case you scanned millions of hosts to attempt to find unsecure VNC (port 5900) servers which is an obvious violation of both of the above. This both generates report workload as and has harmed the reputation of our provider's IP addresses.

We also are very clear about not providing refunds for intentional and malicious abuse, and we offered you 7 days to provide your explaination where we may have considered unsuspension if you didn't intend this.

I've been using this service for around a year and a bit now and I have zero complaints. Its just good and reliable hosting. I wish I had more to say, but its one of those things where theres nothing TO say.
