The scammer persistently claims that he had only deposited the XMR we had previously sent him, attempting to distract from the fact that the funds they used to purchase the XMR were obtained illegally, which we discovered later. The scammer acquired KYC documents from a Romanian individual (who, by the way, has an entirely different name than the scammer’s brand new Trustpilot account) to unlock the frozen deposit. This scammer is one of the most annoying ones we’ve encountered so far. We are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our exchange and will not tolerate any criminal activity on BitcoinVN. We will be collaborating with law enforcement authorities to return these funds for their rightful owner, and perhaps bring this scammer and his accomplices to justice."
