Terms of Service Review
WizardSwap offers no-registration swaps using its own backend infrastructure. However, they openly state they will freeze and seize deposits deemed "stolen", posing severe asset risks.
Fund Seizure Risk
The exchange states they cannot accept stolen funds and reserve the right to freeze and seize your transactions, meaning your assets can be confiscated.
Manual Custodial Refunds
If you send late or incorrect amounts, the trade may fail. You lose self-sovereignty temporarily as you must manually contact support to facilitate a refund.
Independent Infrastructure
WizardSwap operates its own blockchain infrastructure and wallets, ensuring trades are not routed through third-party centralized exchanges.
Privacy-Focused Support
Users can securely contact support via SimpleX Chat, allowing for highly anonymous, metadata-resistant communication without exposing personal identifiers.

Honesly there just scamming people at this point , i will not be providing order id or url to admins so they can claim its their funds sounds sketch. i had a timeout ping for 700 dollars and some. Failed. An error has occured. If you need assistance please email - then wizard swap email for $10,400 dollars all my funds are legit from eth to XMR . Still waiting on a reply but based on what im saying wizard is just randomly scamming people now i use to do 40k at a time with no problem
I sent some BTC to the provided address immediately after receiving it. I received confirmation within 15 minutes, but the system didn't recognize it. I'm not sure I'll get any help from support; I'll update my rating if anything changes.
Added context: User said he would update rating if issue was solved. As per swap status, appears solved. Rating disabled. Please, comment again with new rating.
Hi, your swap did show as EXPIRED on the day you published the review. However today (a day after) your swap shows as COMPLETED. I assume the problem has been resolved. You can comment again to update the score if you want.
Swapped XMR to ETH without issue. It took quite a while though, around ~15-30ish minutes.
BTC is super dirty, never seen aml risk % that high. Even no kyc service did not dare to accept money. Good thing to exchange your btc to xmr i guess, but not the other way around.
Accidentally sent the same amount again to a completed trade/exchange is there a way to get this back @wiz support? it just happened :/
My account at another site was frozen because of their bitcoin. It didn’t happen with other services
Tried a test transaction from XMR -> BTC. It worked, but required quite a few confirmations, so expect to wait 30 minutes.
Sent funds, it was confirmed on BTC chain but WizardSwap never detected it and the swap expired. Support does not respond on SimpleX and I have lost all of that coin. Please don't use this.
Update, it was eventually refunded by support. I am grateful but still wasn't able to swap without running into this
Used WizardSwap in the past for smaller amounts. Seems like they are scamming people now. Despite reporting blocked funds 10 days ago via Twitter, they have kept the funds with no attempt to resolve the issue.
Smooth fast transactions, did over $500 from eth to xmr. No issues whatsoever.
I've used this service multiple times without any problems, but lately, the transaction times have become quite lengthy. In the past, once there were 10 confirmations for Monero, the crypto would be sent almost instantly, but now it seems to take about an hour to complete the transaction, as if it's being done manually. I would rate them 4 out of 5; it would be a perfect 5 if the transactions were automated again.
Good, simple to use service. Quick and honest, transparent calculation on fees. No issues.
I was scammed by them!!! They claimed I had stolen funds and now they won’t even respond to me.
Hi, what comment are you referring to? I can't find any other comment by you that is rejected. Usually, we do not reject any comment unless there's a good reason. We have no connection to Wizardswap at all, other than having them listed here as any other service.
I don’t use the same account since I don’t save seeds, so I created a new one. WizardSwap took my funds by claiming they were stolen and then froze them. I made a ETH swap couple weeks ago, which was sent within 30 seconds, but it showed as expired and said it was never received. There has been no communication through Simplex or email. When I do get a reply, they just ask what I need help with. After I send the swap ID, they stop responding.
You’re not the first facing this problem with WizardSwap. That’s why the listing has the "May Seize or Freeze Funds" attribute together with "KYC upon authorities request.” (KYC Level 2).
WizardSwap’s FAQ states, "Cannot accept stolen funds. May need to freeze and seize." However, the policy they use to determine whether funds are stolen, and how they decide to act, is not clear. I’ll think about adding an attribute to flag the unclear risk‑assessment policies.
Please, keep updating on this issue here if you want.
Another day, new problem. I’ve been deposited btc, but the timer on the site reached zero and swap has been expired although the transaction was even confirmed within 15 minutes. The amount of btc is quite large, I sincerely hope that support will solve this issue for me, however in the last 2 weeks I have already experienced problems twice
Hey, on the order ID you provided the status says 'Completed'. Did the swap finally go through?
Yes, they can steal your funds. support completely ignores both mail and simplex, reading messages and not answering them. I can attach a screenshot if it helps someone. my advice: do not use this service, it is terrible, these kids can drive you to suicide.
Tried to swap some btc to dogecoins and swap was stucked on “sending”. Also the funds sent were not returned to the address specified during the swap. I used it before, but this is the first time I encountered such a problem. support is very slow. I will add to the review if they decide
No problem. Quick swap and page gave all the info on what was going on. Recommended based on the few times I used them.
WizardSwap is a great service, I have used it many times. For me, it doesn't make sense that its score is so low on this platform.
Their support is little slow, back in the days had a issue and waited little long to solve the issue, but nevertheless i got my refund.
So far no issues, however I highly dislike the fact that they are using DDoS-Guard (Russian company) as CDN. I would prefer them to not have clearnet version at all, unless they want to face the same fate as exch.cx sooner or later.
Transaction times are decent and the fees are fair. The liquidity depends on the currency, but usually is enough for my needs. I like that you can earn a bit by providing liquidity if you make an account, however, the wallet for that is custodial. I haven’t used support, so I don’t know how good it is. Be aware that, according to their FAQ, they may freeze your funds if they think they are stolen, which feels a bit arbitrary. Personally never had a KYC issue with them.
New design removed whole review so I left warning. I never had an issue with them, but many users complained about their high amount swap got stuck. I don't know if they just suspended dirty money.
Like others have said below (developed_society_580) The coins from this service are VERY dirty.
XMR to BTC = Flagged transactions in other platforms, use with caution.
